Saving Life (Chapter 04)

=_=; Finally…. It has been awhile since we released Saving Life, and due to the fact that some unfortunate events happened with our staff’s computer and us being lazy (especially me who became the editor for it~ ^,^;)… Anyways…. some random group decided to steal our project without even informing us… =_=; *sigh* We even have the script for the next chapter which our translator worked really hard for, but we decided to drop this project due to that… *sigh* Some people are just inconsiderate *BEEP*…

So yeah, this is the last chapter we’re going to release and it will be move to our dropped project… We’re sad to let it go, but we’re short on staffs too… Anyways, I won’t let you wait longer for this last chapter…

For lazy people like me, here’s the link: Saving Life Chapter 04.

We are still recruiting staffs especially translators for our new projects… Please go to our forum and contact either me (Kiatsu), Euri or Kat.

PS: VERY VERY IMPORTANT!! READ THIS!! ~Euri

–edit–

Yesh! The entire (few remaining) staffs decided that we’re continuing the project.

    I was suppose to add this release to the project page. But yo already did! ^^;

With a team of our size, I think it’s just “whoever’s there first gets to do it”…

I’ve been making changes to the staff page to meet requests from our staff for the last month or so. >.<

  3. cbhl,
I saw that post. It wasn’t that much long.

Anyway, In the scanlation world, there’s this etiquette of not taking another group’s project unless they drop it. That’s why there are no guys taking our projects even if we release in the speed of a turtle most of the time. This is in due respect to the fact that they beat you up with it. If you wanna do the same project a joint one is good, don’t you think?

Not every body can give a full time attention to scanlating. We have lives as well. We do stuffs offline too. (I live alone, that’s why I need to work to feed myself, for example.) We don’t get salaries from scanlating. We don’t ask for people’s money when we scanlate. We do it for hobby, for the sake of the community - fans for fans.

“Whoever gets there first…” was in reference to “I was suppose to add this release to the project page.” Not to Kiatsu’s complaint.

On the other hand, IMO, if we start making more new posts, we would start looking “active”… whether those posts actually contain releases or not. xD Which may help prevent project-stealing. For all anyone knows, maybe we all disappeared off the ends of the earth… and a person who is dead can’t drop a project explicitly, you know.

    On that note:

“Last Chapter” seems misleading… was Saving Life only 4 chapters long? Perhaps it would help to put the word [DROPPED] in this post’s title.

  6. cbhl,
We’re putting Saving Life in hiatus, actually, since other groups beat us up. But then again, their translations are a little bad, imo. So Kat (since he’s this project leader and he seems to like this project as well) suggested that we might continue on with this and do a one with better quality. But then it’ll have to wait until such time when we have more staffs to accommodate it (if we’re ever having more staffs to accommodate it before we arrived at the conclusion of shutting this damn whole thing down. For the mean time, we cant since we have a lot more to get done. :)

Btw, since you look like your bored and not doing anything, how about cleaning up the forums since you’re in charge of it and leave the scanlations to Kat and the scanlation team? ;)

How could I possibly look bored? :S Oh well…
