If you were visiting this site for the last two days (probably), you might’ve seen that we exceeded our bandwidth. To think, the bandwidth of this site is already huge and that we’re all a bit broke at the moment. ＿|￣|○ As an immediate resolution, I decided to disable all downloads from server 1 until the next month where we gain our bandwidth back too 100%. As of current, we’re just borrowing a few more additional bandwidth from Ichigo-sama who’s donating graciously huge amount of space and bandwidth for this site. I’ll try my best to upload the files into other servers for your downloads for the mean time, but I can’t possibly do this all in one day (well, it is possible if it’s the only thing I do, but I have work and all).

Oh, and please don’t forget to say thank you to Ichigo-sama for being nice, okay?  :)

I don’t know who’s responsible, but I thought I’d give the rest of you the heads-up, since I noticed it.

It appears our WordPress has switched over to using Gravatar (www.gravatar.com/) for the avatars. So if you had one uploaded before, move it over to the new system.

Fix Bugs

First things first, Ive fixed bugs in the site. Hopefully, there aren’t any left. I wont be around as much, but I’m always a message away if something came up.

1. You can now download from Server 1, happily because I’ve fixed the redirecting problem with it.
2. The old theme switcher bug is now also fixed, so you can switch themes now to your hearts content (thank you Kiatsu, you’re the best!).
3. The contact page that was missing is now up and running again.

I’ve also taken back our channel that got unregistered due to my absence for more than a month (woah!).

IRC Web Client

I’ve installed an IRC Web Client for KH. You can find the chat client here. The web client is run by Mibbit and is directed to our IRC Channel (#kawaii-heavens@rizon.net), of course.

Since we now have this, I’m thinking twice about adding that shoutbox on the forum that everyone seemed to have been requesting for a while now.

Now, remember to give me some love and tell me if you still want the shoutbox despite the chat client. ^^;

Gomen gomen minna-san… T.T *bows down all the way to the ground* I think it was my fault that KH went down for a couple of days… >.<; It’s because of the .htaccess… I didn’t really do anything about it nor know anything that something’s wrong with it until I checked today… I was busy with something else, so yeah… Hontou ni gomen nasai…. For neglecting KH~ Anyways… KH is back and well… Welcome back! XD

Anyways~ I just learned how to make WP theme like over a week ago… (;￢_￢) So yeah, it might not be the best, but still it looks good enough (^_~) hahaha…. Oh yeah, and I just re-used Euri-chan’s CSS… (x_x;) Forgive me~ *runs away*

Kawaii Heavens is at it’s 3rd year now!

Last March 6th, KH celebrates it’s 3rd year anniversary! To be honest, I really forgot about it, because I was so busy. Shame on me. I bet Kiatsu also forgot about it. >_<

Anyway, on behalf of all Kawaii Heavens Staff, we thank you guys so much! We appreciate all these times you guys have been with us. And here’s a little something for everyone!

Some of you may have noticed that the site has been down for the last few days because we exceeded our bandwidth limit. We would like to apologize for the inconvenience, and berate all the leechers who are responsible for this situation. (Just kidding.)

Thanks to the efforts of our top admins, we have brought the site back online, but we need your help to keep it that way. Our bandwidth is limited, and we need you to help us conserve it!

The following changes, effective immediately, affect the forums as a result of this situation:

• Minimum time between posts has been doubled to 10 seconds.
• Old topic warning on reply has been cut to 7 days from 14 days.
• Boards now have 20 topics per page (was: 50 topics)
• Threads now have 20 posts per page (was: 30 posts)
• Maximum thread size to show “all” posts in a thread on one page is 50 posts. (was: 150 posts)

These changes are permanent until further notice.

Downloads are also now being provided by visual-novels.net — consider checking them out (see left sidebar).

All download links of our project releases (active, completed and dropped) are up now. Sorry it took a while. I just had the free time to do it. XD

Yes, we were hacked. Honestly, it’s quite a pain to fix. >.<

Anyway, the main site is up but the forum is still down. I’m on it, i’m on it. >.< So far, the downloads are back up too, I suppose.

Expect it to be completely propagated within 24-48 hours. Because of this, downloads will be put down. You can still get our manga scanlations at our mirror sites, if you know where to find them. ^_~
